Solid Shaft In-Line Vertical A.C. Motor
The Solid Shaft In-Line Vertical Motor is available in a totally enclosed or explosionproof enclosure. The main application is booster pumps, and this product also is used for centrifugal and non-clog pumps.

Holloshaft® Vertical A.C. Motors
The Weather Protected Type I (WPI) Holloshaft motors are constructed to minimize the entrance of rain, snow and airborne particles. The enclosures exceed NEMA requirements because U.S. Motors has built in the extra protection needed for rugged outdoor applications. The ventilation system is designed to provide optimum cooling to the thrust bearing and electrical components and is available in all motor sizes.
