PLC Networks
PLC (programmable logic controller) networks can provide control and information about its system, depending on the options chosen. The networks may be hard-wired through an ethernet connection or can be connected through a standard wireless LAN or a radio connection.
The connections can be made station to station and to a central office or any combination needed. This allows for remote monitoring and administration of the system. The PC-based MMI (Man-Machine Interface) can also be configured to be remotely accessed from any web-based browser (through the internet, a dial-up connection or a cell phone with web capability) utilizing a secured, password protected IP address.
This option can save countless manpower hours and travel time and provides a way to monitor processes without being on-site.
