PLC for valve control
In conjunction with Snow Machines, Inc. (www.snowmakers.com), Torrent built PLC panels for the main, downhill and gondola pump stations to control the electrically-actuated zone valves. This was an option added to the project later.
Torrent Engineering and Equipment represents a select number of valve manufacturers specifically chosen for their quality, dependability, functionality and service.
We supply air release, ball, butterfly, check, choke, drain, float controlled, gate and pressure relief valves with gear, handle, pneumatically-actuated or electrically-actuated operators. These valves can range in size from 2” to 48” in diameter and in class from 100 to 900. The valves are made of brass, carbon steel, stainless steel or iron as needed for the project.
PLC (programmable logic control) panels may also be designed and built to automate electrically-actuated valves.
